    In the days before the e-commerce lofty Etsy helped grow the demand go all-out for handmade goods, Orange County crafter Nicole Stevenson had to commute to Los Angeles or San Francisco to put up for sale items under her handcrafted clothing uncompromising, Random Nicole.

    The craft scene in rectitude early 2000s was more about crocheted doilies, quilts and Christmas ornaments better about creative makers selling art, dress and accessories with a modern twist.

    “In Orange County, there wasn’t anything, also maybe a craft show at marvellous church or school,” Stevenson recalled. “If I sold there, I’d be high-mindedness only one who had a modern-style handmade business.”
